Fine cabinet plate featuring reddish-orange Calcite crystals amongst Barite clusters!
This specimen is an impressive piece. It’s large inwards size of class only the crystals are too real precipitous in addition to good terminated. I encounter exclusively i contact close the bottom in addition to this hardly detracts from a plate of this calibre. The surfaces are glassy in addition to the luster is satiny. I powerfulness signal out that the reddish-orange color appears to hold upward beneath the surface in addition to non a coating. There are sections inwards each crystal where the Calcite becomes virtually semi-transparent due to a lack of inclusion in
that area. I suspect the mineral inclusion is Hematite in addition to without it, this would hold upward lesser piece.
